Details about this class
Portland is surrounded by beautiful areas to explore! In the Beginning Hiking course we will hike urban and mountain trails ranging from 3-7 miles at varied elevations.
Students must have transportation to trailheads (carpooling is encouraged). All trails are within 1.5 hrs from Cascade Campus. Some trailheads may require a parking pass.
Attendance of safety lecture on first day is required to stay enrolled in the class!
