Details about this class
The Portland Community College Chamber Choir is a select group of 32 skilled singers that will represent the college and perform repertoire at the highest level. Singers should have some experience before considering an audition, which assesses tonal memory, sight reading and other vocal skills. No preparation is required for an audition and those who are interested should visit our AUDITION WEBSITE to schedule a Zoom audition.
If you have no experience and would still like to further your vocal skills, please consider signing up for Chorus (MUS220A) or Class Voice (MUS131). No experience is necessary for either of these classes and no audition is required. If you have any questions about which class is right for you, please reach out to me at samuel.barbara@pcc.edu.

Technology
Students will need an electronic device that will play audio files and headphones. It could be an phone, ipod/ipad, laptop or a personal computer at home. This is necessary for students to practice their songs outside of class.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
