Technology
Classes will be held in person at Cascade Campus during the class times listed in the schedule. Our classroom will be in a computer lab. Together, we will collectively learn how to use technology to compute and understand statistics. Videos and additional resources will be provided on learning Excel/Google sheets.
This class will require you to work daily on applications of mathematics in a group setting. This class does NOT follow a traditional lecture only format and instead requires you as a student to discover patterns and think critically. Your instructor will help guide you through activities, assist with questions, and hopefully raise questions/critical thoughts as well. As such, you may find that you are forced to take on a more active learning approach than you may be used to from your previous math courses. Be prepared to work, unafraid to make mistakes, and willing to learn from those mistakes. There is no greater way to learn than to experience something for yourself first hand!
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
Students with disabilities
