Please sign up for this class only if you can commit to attending it, as we will be doing class notes, group activities, labs, projects, and interactive discussions. I am excited to work with all of you!

Technology

Classes will be held Remotely using Zoom during the times listed in the schedule. Exams need to be taken face-to-face at Rock Creek Campus.

You will need the following:

  • Reliable internet to attend class via Zoom, access course materials in D2L, and complete online assignments
  • Ability to scan written documents to PDF format using a scanner or scanner phone app
  • A scientific calculator
  • We will use the Desmos Online calculator to do statistical calculations. 
  • A printer may be required to complete the problems on the homework and other graded assignments.
  • We will be taking Proctored Quizzes every other class meeting for 30 minutes.
  • We will work in the lab and project and have interactive discussions about the content we are learning in each class. 
  • Here are the dates planned for each exam. Please plan your schedule accordingly.

    May 8- Midterm 1: Proctored in Zoom meeting from 6:00 pm - 8:20 pm

    June 12 - Final Exam: Proctored in Zoom meeting from 6:00 pm - 7:50 pm

  • You cannot make up for the missed lab and group activity. Thanks

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
