Expect to be thinking and doing during class time, not just watching and copying. Expect to move around the classroom throughout each class session. Expect to know and understand much more and more deeply at the end because of this.
Technology
Class will be held at the PCC Hillsboro Center in downtown Hillsboro during the times listed in the schedule. You will need a calculator for basic arithmetic. You may find it helpful to have a calculator that can use parentheses, do fraction arithmetic, and interpret order of operations on its own, but this is not required.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
