Details about this class
This is an on-campus, in-person class. Attendance at Southeast Campus will be expected every Tuesday and Thursday from 2 - 4:20. Each class will include significant time for group work and interactive collaboration. Active participation will be encouraged from all students.
It is required that students purchase a Class Notes and Group Work packet from the Southeast Bookstore. The packet costs about $15 and can be paid for with financial aid. To order, click on the "textbook" link in the course information, or go to the Southeast Bookstore from the MyPCC homepage.
The packet is 106 pages and includes all the Class Notes and Group Work handouts that we will use in every class, along with other important information such as the Course Calendar, Syllabus and WeBWork tips.
Technology
We will use Desmos, a free online graphing calculator, throughout the course.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
