Details about this class

This is an in-person, face-to-face class, NOT a remote class!  We will meet in-person twice a week on the Sylvania campus (TuTh 11:00 - 1:50).  I am very much looking forward to seeing you on campus this spring!

My goal is to help you be successful in precalculus (Math 111).  I will explain, demonstrate, guide, and support you as best I can to help you better develop and enhance your mathematical and algebraic skills.  I want you to succeed!

A copy of a past syllabus can be accessed here.  Our textbook is an online version and is free.  A hard copy is available and may be purchased at the PCC Bookstore.

Class sessions will be a mix of lecture, collaborative, group, and independent work.

The course is set up to engage everyone in active participation and learning without penalizing anyone for complicated lives or schedules.

I will do my best to develop a supportive and caring learning environment.

If you have any questions, please contact me at my PCC email address (rus.jordan@pcc.edu). Thank you, I look forward to seeing this spring.
