Details about this class
This course explores relations and functions graphically, numerically, symbolically, and verbally. We examine exponential, logarithmic, polynomial, and rational functions. Furthermore, the course investigates applications from a variety of perspectives. Graphing technology and access to the textbook are required however they are provided free of charge online. Access to the internet is needed to complete the online homework and submissions. Internet is provided free of charge on all PCC campuses.
Purchase of a set of class worksheets from PCC bookstore is required. You may also print the class worksheets, however this option has proven to be more costly and inconvenient.
Attendance of the first two classes is required.
Technology
Homework is done online, so a reliable internet connection is needed. No need to purchase a calculator since we use a free online calculator.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
Students with disabilities
