Hello! I am Stephanie Yurasits. I hope to work with you this spring! Remember, my main goal is your success, so please reach out if there is any way I can support you.
This is an on-campus, in-person class. Attendance at Southeast Campus will be expected every Monday and Wednesday from 1:00 pm -3:20 pm from March 30 to June 10. Each class will include significant time for group work and interactive collaboration. Active participation will be encouraged from all students.
It is recommended that students have the Class Notes packet: MTH 105 Note Packet F25
This can be purchases from the Southeast Bookstore for under $17.35 and can be paid for with financial aid. To order, click on the "textbook" link in the course information, or go to the Southeast Bookstore from the MyPCC homepage. (The packet can also be printed at home or at the PCC Library by accessing the PDF on our D2L page.)

Q: How do I access the course?
A: Log into MyPCC. On the main webpage, in the Quick Links window on the left, you will see the link to access D2L. The class will not open until our first meeting.

A: After our first meeting.
Q: How is the material presented?
A: In class, I will provide guided notes and dedicate time for you to engage in collaborative group work. You are responsible for printing the guided notes or you can buy the note packet from the bookstore.
Q: Do I have to take the exams at a specific time?
A: Yes - all exams have to be proctored and will be given during class time.
Q: Is there homework?
A: Yes on MyOpenMath (a free online homework platform) and handwritten work submitted in class.
Technology
We will use Excel/Google Sheets in this class.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
