Details about this class
Hi there,
Thanks for checking out the course details for this class!
This is a MTH 105z course designed to help students directly enroll and succeed in a 100-level math class.
Students who register for this section must also enroll in a 1 credit support course (CRN 25926, make sure to register for both CRN’s at the same time). The support course meets from 2:00 – 3:00 pm (one hour before the parent MTH 105z course), in the same classroom. Altogether, the support course (1 credit, Pass/No Pass) and the parent math class (4 credits) is 5 credits total.
For more information on Corequisite support classes, please watch this video.
Technology
This is a class where technology is encouraged. We will be using Desmos, google sheets, and Stapplet applets during class. Students will be able to use calculators on exams.
Regarding our textbook/notes: We will be using a free OER textbook and free online homework system. Class sessions will be a mix of lecture and collaborative work. This is the link to the textbook.

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
