Details about this class

This course will be conducted remotely using Zoom.

We will be meeting for 1-three-hour sessions per week- for 11 weeks.

All sessions will be recorded.

Students who do not attend or notify me in Week 1 will be submitted as ‘No Show’  in Week 2. 

Technology

This course uses digital media software that requires a computer capable of running Adobe Creative Suite software and Google workspaces.

 

Check the Multimedia Technology specifications page for computer recommendations. Chromebooks or tablets are not recommended.  

If you do not have access to a computer our department provides access to Mac labs at the Cascade Campus during open lab hours.

Browsers:

  • Firefox, Chrome, or Safari browser

Apps, Programs and Software we are using:

  • Microsoft Office or Google Docs
  • Zoom app. Log in through our online D2L class page.
  • Access to the Adobe Suite
    • You will be provided with a PCC license for Adobe CC this quarter since we are still remote.

Required Equipment:

  • Desktop or Laptop Computer for using Adobe Creative Suite, working on assignments and remote classes. 
    • Google Chrome Books NOT recommended
  • Headphones with microphone for remote class participation
  • iPhone/Smartphone for taking photographs, recording video and recording audio.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
