Details about this class
Welcome to JPN 103 at PCC!
In this course, you will further develop your Japanese listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. The curriculum is designed to enhance your communication abilities and deepen your understanding of Japanese culture. Class sessions are scheduled for Mondays
and
Wednesdays from 2:00 to 4:20 PM. Research suggests that you should dedicate approximately two hours outside of class per credit hour to achieve academic success, so you are expected to study and complete assignments outside of class accordingly.
Consistent attendance and active participation are required for success. You will engage with peers and participate in learning activities both inside and outside the classroom to foster a supportive learning community. Additionally, one-on-one and group study sessions are available throughout the term. For any questions, please contact yumiko.omata@pcc.edu.
Technology
This class meets in person on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Cascade campus. All homework must be turned in electronically, so please make sure you have a steady internet connection and a computer or tablet.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
