Details about this class

This is an in-person class that meets twice a week at the Sylvania campus of PCC from 1:00pm - 2:50pm on Mondays and Wednesdays.

The class covers the history the Holocaust: the systematic genocide of the Jewish population of Europe by the Nazis and their allies during World War II.  It also covers the pre-history of the Holocaust, including topics like antisemitism, racism and racial pseudosciences, the history of modern Germany, and fascism.  No prior knowledge of the subject is required. Assignments consist of short writing assignments every two weeks, along with one essay. The only book to purchase is a Holocaust survivor testimony, Primo Levi's Survival in Auschwitz.

Please feel free to contact me at christopher.brooks3@pcc.edu if you have any questions about the class.
