Expand your intravenous therapy skill set with this introductory, comprehensive, one-day course. Intended for RNs, LPNs, dental assistants and hygienists, medical assistants, healthcare students and other medical professionals to increase your intravenous cannula insertion skills. Class will include presentation of current best practices and guidelines for insertion, legal and documentation issues, and hands-on practice using mannequins.

Expand your RN and LPN, Dental Assistants and Hygienists, Medical Assistants skill set with this introductory, comprehensive, two-day course. You'll get up-to-date information, and practice advanced techniques on the insertion and care of peripheral IV lines. Participants observe demonstrations, practice skills with instructor feedback, and review essential components of legal and documentation issues. Students must sign a consent form to permit insertion of peripherally inserted catheters. This course is not an IV certification course.
