The Holistic Herbalism Module focuses on the study of specific herbal properties, Western Herbal Energetics, Preparations, Skin and Topical therapies, Plant Chemistry, Chinese and Ayurvedic herbalism, Reproductive, Musculoskeletal, Immune and Endocrine systems, Herbalism for Young and Elderly, Integrative Healing: Diet, Cleansing, Herbal Hydrotherapy.

This Holistic Herbalism Module focuses on the study of specific herbal properties, Western Herbal Energetics, Preparations, Skin and Topical therapies, Plant Chemistry, Chinese and Ayurvedic herbalism. It explores the Media Medica & Integrative healing for the Reproductive, Musculoskeletal, Immune and Endocrine systems, including herbalism for the Young and Elderly, and Integrative Healing: Diet, Cleansing, Herbal Hydrotherapy.

This course is one of three required to earn the Herbalism Professional Certificate. Terms can be completed in any order. To learn more about the full program, please visit pcc.edu/climb/health/integrative/herbalism

Course meets live online (via Zoom) each Wednesday from 2:00-4:45pm OR 5:45-8:30pm (same material is covered each session). Instructor also holds office hours to answer questions. Texts required; booklist emailed to students.

Students should expect to invest a minimum of 2-3 hours of study time for every hour of lecture in order to be successful.
