Spring 2024 GD239 | ILLUSTRATION FOR GRAPHIC DESIGNERS readies students to delve into the world of traditional, non-digital illustration tools and techniques. The course curriculum extends beyond these artistic foundations to encompass the professional nuances of digitizing and formatting, vital skills for preparing artwork for media reproduction. The learning experience involves skillfully integrating these illustrations into various design communication materials.
Technology
Standard Graphic Design tools and materials. High quality tracing paper, fine point and fat point felt tip pens (not roller ball),
Fine Drawing Paper, thumb drive or other external drive for digital storage.
