Details about this class
Hello students!
My name is Anneke O'Brien and I will be your instructor for this Level 7 Reading class.
In this class, we will work on being able to read faster and more fluently. Not only will we read a lot, we will also discuss many interesting topics.
We will use a FREE online textbook. If you would like to have a print copy of the book, you can buy it in the PCC Bookstore.
We will also read the novel Esperanza Rising by Pam Muñoz Ryan.
I'm excited to meet you soon!

This class meets in person, but you need to use a computer to study and for some of the homework. You can use or borrow a computer at the library.
You will need to be able to use your PCC email, Google Docs and D2L.

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
