Our skills book, Read Up! Strategies for Raising Reading Skills, will be available online and a print version is available in the PCC bookstore for purchase. In this book, we will cover the following skills:

In addition to our skills book, we will also read the novel The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency, also available in the PCC bookstore.
In this class, students will work with partners and small groups practicing reading skills and discussing the literature. Regular attendance is expected.
Technology
Students will need to access our class website on D2L for homework and quizzes. Students are expected to check their PCC e-mails for communication.
