Welcome to Level 5 Writing!
We will study and practice writing in American English, including grammar and vocabulary. We will read, talk, and watch movies about different topics to learn about writing skills this spring.
We will use an Open Educational Resource called Harmony for this class. You can print Harmony from your home computer, any PCC library, or any Multnomah County Library for free. If you want, you can pay for a printed copy of Harmony from the PCC SE Bookstore.
Technology
This is an online class with scheduled meetings on ZOOM. You will need a microphone and webcam to participate on ZOOM.
The class info and assignments will be on D2L Brightspace. After you register for this class, you will receive info about how to find the class website.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
