Welcome to Writing 5!
My name is Jennifer. I am the teacher. I am looking forward to meeting you!
In Writing 5, we review and build skills with paragraph writing, and then we start learning how to write an essay. We also study grammar. We review grammar from previous levels and then add and practice new and more complex grammar.
Our textbook for this class is Grammar for Great Writing A, by Laurie Blass. It is available in the bookstore.

Technology
This class meets in person, but you will need to use a computer to do some of the homework. You can use your own computer or tablet, or you can use a computer in the library.
You also need to use PCC email. Also, you will need to find class information and homework online. If you don't know how, the teacher can help you
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
