Details about this class
COMM 111 is a face to face class that meets on the Sylvania campus in CT 233. You will be preparing and presenting at least 4 individual speeches in front of the class. You will be able to access our D2L page on the first day of classes where you can find the class syllabus and schedule. We will also review this information on the first day of class.
Attendance policy: You need to attend the first class so as not to be dropped as a 'No Show' and your spot given to a student on the waitlist. If there is a problem, you need to reach out to me by the first day of the term. It is also department policy that you attend 75% of the scheduled class meetings, and earn enough points, to pass the class.
I will work to create a supportive and fun atmosphere for you to practice and improve your public speaking skills. I look forward to meeting you if you choose to join the class. You won't regret it:)
