Details about this class

For students who do not already have a textbook, I would recommend going online and buying an older edition of the book at places like alibris.com, ebay.com or even amazon.com. You would be safe going all the way back to the 5th edition and as long as it is Human anatomy and Physiology: Unity of Form and Function by Kenneth Saladin you will be fine and can pick these up often for around $1.00.

All lectures are recorded so Lecture attendance is not mandatory except for the final exam.

The lab manual is necessary and is available in print form at the bookstore or free on the D2L page for the course.

Lecture Quizzes are online, but the Final exam is face to face ONLY.

Laboratory attendance is mandatory and all quizzes and practicals are given in face to face format Only on the Sylvania campus.

Technology

A computer is beneficial to replay of recorded lectures.  All Lectures are recorded so that Lecture Attendance is not mandatory.

A computer is helpful for study of lab materials and for access to PCC's D2l Brightspace for course management, tracking grades, lecture quizzes, etc.

The lab manual is available for free in the D2L space for the course under Lab materials.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.

Students with disabilities

Students with disabilities should notify their instructor if accommodations are needed to take this class. For information about technologies that help people with disabilities taking Online based classes please visit the Disability Services website.
