Details about this class

This course is in person! We will meet in person at our assigned times for lab and lecture. Lecture will not only be lecture. There will be some group learning activities in lecture.  This means you should read the material ahead of time and be prepared to engage in active learning. Not all of the information in slides will be addressed as a lecture.  Some of the information will be addressed in the group learning activities. For lecture exams you are responsible for anything on the lecture slides. Attendance in lecture is strongly encouraged for all students.  This is an opportunity to learn and understand the material.  Everyone, no matter their level of prior knowledge, can learn something, including me. There will also be assignments that are completed in D2L.  These include topic discussions, homework, and a general education assignment.

Technology

Reliable internet access.  I post course materials in D2L.  These materials include, but are not limited to lab and lecture slide sets, discussion questions, homework assignments.  Some course material is completed using D2L.  This includes topic discussions and homework assignments.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
