Details about this class
This course will be held remotely VIA ZOOM. Students must attend each session LIVE via zoom. A recording will be made available for students who cannot attend on a particular day due to illness.
Students are strongly encouraged to TURN ON webcams, so fellow students and the instructor can get to know one another and network, and so the instructor can gauge your comprehension of the problems.
Remote is convenient, but it has significant shortcomings in this regard, and we will all need to work together to overcome these. Thank you in advance for making an effort, even if that's outside of your comfort zone.
Technology
Students will need to use a calculator. Most Smart Phones have this function, as do laptop computers. Or students can purchase a calculator.
Students will need a Smart Phone or a scanner to submit homework in pdf format for credit.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
