Details about this class
No experience necessary, this is a class for all levels of drawing ability.
Practice basic drawing skills including gesture/contour, sighting, measuring, proportion, value and shading, space and perspective and many more. We will use a range of materials including charcoal, graphite and pen and ink. We will work from a variety of subjects including still lifes, photographs, architecture and landscape.
All of the supplies are available at PCC Campus Bookstores or Artist & Craftsman, Collage, Blick, Columbia Art and Drafting Supply, I've Been Framed and Michael's. There is a kit available at the bookstore closer to when the term starts, it will cost around $100
Technology
This class will meet in-person, face-to-face with minimal technology required, your assignments are uploaded to D2L
Some course content will be delivered through email and/or D2L as needed.
All Materials needed for the class are available as a kit from the bookstore or you can use supplies you already have.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
