Prerequisites: recommend ART 141 and Basic Computer Skills.

 

This class meets In-person: classes take place at specific times and locations. Attendance in person is required.

Technology

Access to a computer with internet access is required for this course

  • Access to D2L and Email is required
  • Connectivity is important for streaming video and other class materials

 

Access to a digital camera with manual exposure controls is required for this course

  • DSLR or Mirrorless preferred

To get the most out of this class, cameras with manual controls (DSLR or Mirrorless) are preferred

DSLR Cameras and Tripods are available for checkout at the PCC library

 

Subscription to Photoshop (included with course)

This class is designed to cover Photoshop.

An Adobe Photoshop subscription through PCC is included with class enrollment. We will cover how to access this in class.

You will need regular access to a computer that can run this program.

 

Please note: Chromebooks are not compatible with the version of Photoshop we will be using for class.

Mobile versions of Photoshop are available (for iPads, tablets, and phones) but these versions don't include major tools and features we will be using in the Desktop version of the program.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
