Details about this class
No experience necessary.
Learn basic drawing skills including gesture and proportion, value and shading, space and perspective. We will use a range of materials including charcoal, graphite, ink, and collage. of mixing colors and painting with a variety of strategies. Students will work from a variety of subjects including still lifes, photographs, and the drawings of other artists from a range of eras and cultures.
Technology
This class will meet in-person, face-to-face, so the technological requirements are minimal.
Some course content will be delivered through email and/or D2L as needed.
All Materials needed for the class are available as a kit from the bookstore or you can use supplies you already have.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
