Details about this class

Greetings, Foundations of Math 2 students! Welcome to the Spring 2024 AE class. We will be meeting from 6 pm to 8:50 pm each Tuesday evening (classroom) and Thursday evening (remote). The  Tuesday classes will be held in Terrell Hall-Room 210. Please come to class on time and be ready to learn.

You are invited to bring your digital device, laptop, Chromebook, or tablet to class to use for in-class assignments. However, if you do not have access to a digital device, you will be provided with a PCC classroom Chromebook to do your in-class assignments in the classroom. You will also be provided with a TI-30XS Multiview calculator for in-class assignments as well.

It is recommended that you try to attend all the class sessions because the goal of this class is to elevate your mathematical proficiency. You can view a previous syllabus from this course HERE.

After you register for this class, you will receive a Spring 2024 syllabus and an informational document about how to join the class. The syllabus and informational document will arrive approximately one week before the first class session via your PCC email.

As your instructor, I will be with you every step of the way. Together, we can be successful.

I will see you on the first day of class.

Warm regards,

Ted Baskerville

Technology

We will be using the D2L/Brightspace platform within the MyPCC portal as a tool for accessing and submitting assignments that are designed to help you gain a better understanding of the mathematical concepts that we will be exploring during the term.

You will need to download the Zoom application to review the class recordings. These recordings will be available approximately 30 minutes after the end of every class session.
