Details about this class
This in-person psychology course applies academic psychology to our day-to-day lives. We cover some really interesting topics in this class; self-concept, culture, effective communication, relationships, conflict resolution, and much more.
You'll have weekly reading, weekly assignments (typically small-scale, personal, and insight-based), two multiple-choice exams with a handwritten page of notes (midterm and final), and a final project, which includes your academic perspective on at least five chapters of the text, as well as a creative project depicting your choice of a class-related topic.
Finally- this class blends old-school lecture along with conversations with your classmates (but not assigned group work- just participating with others). Basically - your attendance matters. =)
