Details about this class
This course will be structured around looking at technology and understanding its social, cultural, and identity contexts and effects. Grades will be based on discussion participation as well as culminating in a final project which will take the form of analysis/commentary, constructed technology, creative work or some combination of these things. Ruha Benjamin's book, "Race After Technology" will be used as a framing text.
