Details about this class
This yoga class begins with a fundamental introduction to basic asanas (poses) and gradually builds on them each week. My goal is to provide an inclusive and equitable environment that explores a range of Hatha and Vinyasa style flows, with a focus on breath work (pranayama) and meditation.
Beginners and more experienced yogis are both welcome and encouraged to join. In these classes, alongside yoga poses, we will practice Sun Salutation and Moon Salutation sequences—basic yoga sequences that are easy for everyone to follow—as well as pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation.
This course consists of in-person classes, and all materials are provided on the D2L page. Please wear comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement. PCC provides mats, but you are welcome to bring your own. We also have yoga blocks, straps, and blankets available for use in class.
