In person & online options
Our course meets in person as scheduled. We have online options as well...
If anyone cannot make it in person to a class session, they can access our class remotely (via Zoom). And if anyone cannot attend a scheduled session in person or remotely, they can check out that session's recording (an unlisted YouTube video).
The idea is that anyone should be able to participate in our class, wherever and whenever (during the quarter) they like!
I'll explain all the details during our first class session!

Teaching philosophy
My philosophy of teaching is to do whatever I can to support students as you all achieve your goals.
My job is to welcome everyone to the world of statistics - you can be completely sure that I respect everything about you and your background. (I won't tolerate any form of intolerance, though.) And that I'll do the best I can to support your learning in this course!
Most introductory statistics students do not plan on becoming statistics majors - nursing, psychology, business, and related disciplines are the most common paths forward for PCC statistics students. Whatever path you're on, let's work together to help you develop your statistical literacy and keep you moving forward on your path!

No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
