Details about this class
We will be using a flipped classroom for this in-person MATH 95 course. That means that students will take notes on video lectures outside of the class. Then, we will work on applying the knowledge from the video lectures through group activities in class.
Your course grade will be based on
- completion of the lecture notes
- participation in class activities
- in-class quizzes
- in-class midterm exams
- completion of online homework (WeBWorK)
- the final exam
Technology
You will need regular access to the internet for viewing the lectures and completing the online homework sets.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
