Details about this class
Requirement: This is a corequisite support class for students enrolling in Laura Smoyer's MTH 105 class, CRN 45279. If you have been placed into MTH 58/60 and do not meet the regular prerequisites for the course, or you feel you need support, then you can register for 44981 and 45279 together. These are paired courses so you must register for 44981 and 45279 together
This is an on-campus, in-person class. Attendance at Southeast Campus will be expected every Monday and Wednesday from 11:30 am -12:20 pm from September 21 to December 7. Each class will include significant time for group work and interactive collaboration.
This is a support class that is paired with Math 105 to allow students to take a college level class sooner. We will meet twice a week for 50 minutes and focus on math content and habits that make students successful. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions about the support course. If you are looking for 105 without the support course that is CRN 41379.
Math in Society looks at applied, real-world math and tools that you can use to make quantitative decisions in your life.
