CEU936G Introduction to Intravenous Therapy
Expand your intravenous therapy skill set with this introductory, comprehensive, one-day course. Intended for RNs, LPNs, dental assistants and hygienists, medical assistants, healthcare students and other medical professionals to increase your intravenous cannula insertion skills. Class will include presentation of current best practices and guidelines for insertion, legal and documentation issues, and hands-on practice using mannequins.
This course is not an IV certification course.
PCC IV therapy course is approved by the Oregon Board of Dentistry that allows qualified Anesthesia Dental Assistants to start an IV and update their certification from the Oregon Board of Dentistry.
