Details about this class
Hello!
This course goes over a variety of geospatial topics. Most weeks you will have to complete:
An online quiz
A discussion
and a lab assignment where you will use step by step instructions
There is no midterm or final test.
There will be a final StoryMap assignment where you will write about a geospatial technology of your choice and how it is used in society. You will also design a StoryMap as a sort of web page for your writing.
Please reach out to the instructor if you have any questions or concerns about the course.
Technology
ArcGIS Online (An account is provided to you for free while you are a student at PCC. We will go over how to create an account and how to navigate ArcGIS Online during the course.)
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
