Details about this class

Hi, my name is Mandy. My expertise is in computer engineering and systems. I worked at Intel for 28 years, building software and the PCs that use software. I'd love to introduce you to the world of engineering!

This is an online class with scheduled class sessions. Class will be by Zoom, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1-3:50pm. There will also be virtual office hours by appointment.

The course consists of worksheets, assignments, labs, and a multi-week project. This class will give you a solid introduction into what engineering is and what engineers do, as well as practice in some basic engineering skills through problem solving, working in teams and learning to communicate like an engineer.
