CS133U is a beginning programming class. It is an introduction to writing computer programs in the C Language.
The online book is required for the course and is a reasonable cost. Directions for acquiring textbook:

Additional information about the textbook:
- It is better to buy from the zybooks web site than the PCC bookstore, unless you have financial aid.
- You can get a discount if you have taken previous courses.
- If you have withdrawn from this course previously, the book is free.
- A temporary subscription is available for 1 month.
- Note: If you have a 1-year subscription then it cannot use that for these books.

Technology
A computer capable of running Zoom is required for this class. The computer should have a camera and microphone in order to get the most benefit.
A "second best" alternative is a webcam.
Zoom on a smartphone may work as a "third best" alternative.
A computer will also be needed for programming however many different software versions are available as options.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
