Details about this class
In CS 133G we will explore the realm of 2D game development. The class will explore the methods and tools used by video game developers to better understand today's interactive mediums. The class focuses on building instead of exams, tinkering rather than talking, and understanding the mechanics instead of memorization.

Primary Apps
- Godot: https://godotengine.org/ - our game engine. It's open source, light weight, and easy to use.
- GitHub Desktop: https://desktop.github.com/ - our version control system. It allows us to keep our projects organized.
- Discord: https://discord.com/ - our communications app. It's a popular app to coordinate projects or just hang. We'll use Discord during lab time, group project communications, plus more fun.
