Hi!
Welcome to Small Group Communication. Working with a small group is something we are all expected to do, but what makes group work successful? Why does working in a group sometimes go terribly wrong? In this class we will unpack group dynamics in order to improve outcomes when it matters.
Before you decide to take this class, please know you will be expected to work in a small group of your classmates to develop a term project. The work you complete with your group makes up 50% of your final grade. You will need to have time in your schedule to meet with a small group of your classmates weekly, both in and out of our scheduled class.
This course is run in a hybrid format, your in-person attendance is required as well as participation through weekly online activities.
