You should already have CCNA 200-301 Portable Command Guide 5th ed. by Scott Thompson, Cisco Press, ISBN 9780135937822 from your CIS278A class. If not you will need to purchase it. This is a reference book, not a textbook. 

Technology

We will use Packet Tracer, which is free and provided with your Cisco Academy account, which you likely already have from CIS278A. If not we will get you into to. 

The course will primarily be using the Cisco NetAcad curriculum which will be provided for you and is free.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
