Details about this class
Dr. Patti Ayala has been teaching general biology courses as well as cell biology, microbiology, and immunology courses for more than 15 years at PCC in the biology department and the Bioscience Technology Program. She also teaches at Chemeketa Community College. Previously Dr. Ayala was a scientist with OHSU for 17-plus years.
Bi101 students should expect two midterm exams, a final comprehensive exam, a weekly assignment, and weekly lab quiz and post-labs. Laboratory attendance is mandatory.
Students are required to use the desire2learn course website to view, download, and print Materials for class. Additional information, including announcements, resources, presentation slides, and more will be posted to the D2L course website. Students are encouraged to check the course website frequently.
