Details about this class

Weekly lecture will be delivered remotely.  To attend, you go to D2L and into our class and then click 'Online classrooms' to attend at 6PM on Tuesday and Thursday.  If you are unable to attend at the scheduled time, you must view the recording of the lecture, available after a couple hours after the lecture ends.

This class is delivered remotely similar to an online class except that there is a weekly lecture for our class.  Instructor and students do not meet physically except that there are 2 exams that need to be taken at ZOOM and proctored by the instructor.

If students are unable to finish weekly assignment before the deadline, contact instructor for extension.

Students will be able to call or text instructor any day and any time for help as often as needed. No appointment is needed.

Technology

We use Webwork. (you will not need to purchase a code) for our class. You do not need to buy a calculator since most cell phones have a simple calculator and a scientific calculator. You do need a webcam for Group Work and taking the proctored remote exams at Zoom. You may not need to by a text book as the material will be provided in D2L.

If you have struggled in past in Basic Math the text book will help.

All assignments are done online except there are 2 exams that you must take them proctored in ZOOM.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.

Students with disabilities

Students with disabilities should notify their instructor if accommodations are needed to take this class. For information about technologies that help people with disabilities taking Online based classes please visit the Disability Services website.
