On Thursday, March 8, 2018, Cascade Campus was placed in lockout from approximately 7:31 pm to 7:36 pm while police were searching for a man walking in the area armed with a knife threatening people. The man was located and arrested. The man was identified as Lawrence CROSS III who is 50 years of age. Cross was also issued a PCC trespass notice the following day while still in jail.
