Immunization and Clinical Screening Process for the PCC Medical Imaging Programs
All applicants for PCC Medical Imaging programs need to be aware of the following requirements once a student is selected for placement into a clinical setting.
These requirements follow State guidelines and without successful completion of all segments of the process, students will not be allowed in a clinical setting. Due to the cost of each immunization or titer, applicants should contact their providers to determine what will be covered by insurance or by the patient.
This information is being shared in order to allow students time to gather medical information that verifies the immunizations or proof of immunity by titers (blood samples).
Once selected, students will be provided with a required form to be completed and submitted to the program along with copies of medical documents verifying the dates of each immunization or titer.
Criminal Background Check and Drug Screening are also required for students who are selected for the program. Specific instructions for these processes will be given during the mandatory orientation following student selection and all forms will be provided at that time.
