Brian Bangerter

Brian Bangerter has been teaching Japanese at PCC since 2003. He received his BA in Japanese Teaching from Brigham Young University and his Master of Education degree from Washington State University. He has been a full-time Japanese instructor at Westview High School in the Beaverton School District since 1996, teaching levels 1-5 to grade levels 9-12. Brian served as secretary for the Association of Teachers of Japanese in Oregon (ATJO) from 2004-2006. He teaches First-year Japanese and Second-year Japanese conversation.

Yukari Birkett

Yukari Birkett has been teaching Japanese at PCC since 2008. She received her BA in English and Linguistics from Seisen University and her MA in TESOL from Eastern Michigan University. She holds three teaching certificates, in Language Arts/ESOL and Japanese at the secondary level in Tokyo, Michigan, and Oregon. She taught various subjects from K to college level in OR and MI. She also worked for an engineering company as a simultaneous translator. She teaches First-year Japanese.

Morgan Lindberg

Morgan Lindberg has been teaching Japanese at PCC since September 2008. She received her BA in Japanese Language from the University of Montana and her MA in Japanese Literature and certificate in International Cultural Studies from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Before joining PCC, she lived and worked in Hokkaido and Iwate prefectures. She teaches First-year Japanese.
