Instructor: Bill Gamble
Bill Gamble, MSN, is an instructor in the Foundations of Clinical Research Program. He is a research professional with 29 years of experience in the clinical research industry including site operations, clinical monitoring, management, and leadership.
After working as a Registered Nurse in cardiology and the operating room, he started his career as a study coordinator at an academic medical center. Exposure to the industry-side of clinical research led to a career in mid to large-size CROs serving in ascending roles of Clinical Research Associate (CRA), Clinical Team Lead, Manager Clinical Operations, and Associate Director of Clinical Trial Management. During the pandemic, he returned to an academic medical center to serve as the Assistant Director of Clinical Research Staffing for the university clinical trials office.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama and Birmingham. He is a member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) and the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA).
Currently, he works as a consultant providing quality management services, monitoring, and site support for Sponsors and CROs.
