Dr. Adrien Bennings greets U.S. President Joe Biden on visit to Portland

Portland Community College President Dr. Adrien Bennings met U.S. President Joe Biden, who made a two-day visit to Portland to speak about his administration’s efforts to reduce prescription drug costs and reign in inflation’s impact on the cost of living. President Bennings plugged the value of community colleges – for their ability to transform lives through education, and invigorate the economy by producing trained graduates who can fill the labor shortage lamented by employers.
