Longtime PCC staff Bob Garrison passes away

Robert Garrison, born May 4, 1920, died peacefully in his home Jan. 8. He was 92. During World War II, he enlisted in the Army Air Corps and served with honor retiring from the U.S. Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant after 26 years of service. Upon his retirement, having earned a master’s degree in Psychology, he was hired at PCC in 1968 as a counselor and psychology instructor. He retired in December of 1985 and continued to work part time for the college until 2005 when he was 85.

A memorial service will take place at 2 p.m., Jan. 17. It will be held at Allen Boulevard Baptist Church, 11520 SW Allen Blvd. in Beaverton. Garrison was a member of the PCC community for many years and will be missed.
