Neighbors and Campus share ideas for growing PCC’s Southeast Center
Photos and Story by Gina Whitehill-Baziuk
The Southeast Center has been buzzing for the last month with activity on campus and in the community with events and presentations about bond improvements to expand Southeast Center. The Portland Community College project team have been meeting with several neighborhood associations to share progress and listen to feedback and ideas from neighbors.
In addition, this fall PCC has hosted seven well attended open houses on campus. At these events, neighbors, students, faculty and staff asked questions and shared their views about a variety of topics including -parking, classroom design and potential campus connections with the community. We will continue to host events on campus and encourage members of the public to share their ideas.
